Most LP records are intended to be spun at a rate of 33 and 1/3 revolutions per minute.
Most forty-five records are intended to be spun at a rate of forty-five revolutions per minute.
The old 78's were spun at seventy-eight revolutions per minute.
A turntable or record player is necessary to listen to records.   DJ's are still
buying vintage as well as new vinyl records for their turntables.   They love to scratch their
wax at raves and house parties.
Long playing microgroove phonograph records are intended to be spun on a phonograp turntable at a rate
of thirty-three and one third revolutions per minute.
